Uma Festa em Pinhal Novo – sonhos, ensaios e realidade….

Ora manifesta a sua devoção, ora assinala uma efeméride, ora evoca um acontecimento especial da sua comunidade…. Porém, seja qual for a motivação, a Festa cimenta os alicerces da identidade desse povo e fortalece os pilares da sua auto-estima.

Decorria o ano de 1997 e na noite de quarta-feira, dia 9 de Abril, José Carreira Agostinho, o então Presidente da Junta de Freguesia de Pinhal Novo, mais um pequeno grupo de sonhadores, aquelas pessoas que olham o mundo de um modo diferente dando-lhes mais cor e emoção, entre o barulho de chávenas de café, cigarros e garrafas de água, resolveram que 1997 seria o ano da mudança.
